FREE COMPUTER TIPS - Apple Mac Laptop Review - Been a long time since wanting to review Apples - Mac laptops. Pros: the longevity of Mac Laptops is unbeatable in our book. The laptops seem to run 8 - 10 years and they are consistently very fast machines. They are virtually virus, malware free. And extremely lightweight and durable computers. Cons: Replacing Mac parts however, are not hard but very time consuming as they have more nuts and bolts so to speak than a standard windows laptops. They are also very expensive machines to buy. Would I recommend a Apple Mac laptop - YES it is
our first recommendation when replacing your Windows laptop that has
a normal life span of 4-7 years. |

| We have been testing a new Malware program, this one is FREE Malwarebyte we will keep you posted. Latest ran on machine with only 128 m memory. Removed all the malware. This program has proven itself. No longer hangs on any of the computers we use it on. |

| The Best so far Avast and its FREE, uses very little resources, catches all virus and some malware. Been testing for a year now. We have it on all our home computers. Two years of testing, still the most recommended anti virus software. |
| McAfee - Starting to slow down (this program is catching up to Norton as far as speed goes, catches all virus to date. Catches some spyware but I would not rely on it. The suite is horrible, it takes over your machine. |
| Norton (not recommended) removes most all virus's but is incredible slow, it's spam and spyware protection does not work very well at all. Uses way to much resources on your machine. The suite does not work well either, however, some of the features with System Works are by far the best tools on the market. Heard the new version is slim and fast...Will be testing soon. |
| Free Version of Spyware Doctor Antivirus Does the job well, however, if you do not have your machine on at all time or when you schedule scans or updates it hangs and throws errors.. Software is a memory hog. |
| Malwarebyte - by far the best and easiest software to use to remove malware. Beware however, it does not remove all. If you keep this program up to date and run once a week, it will remove about 80% of all malware. |
